E-Commerce Associate/Account Manager

Ecommerce Associate Account Manager, Amazon.com Accounts

Philip J. Boren is looking for a motivated, self-starting Ecommerce Associate Account Manager with a proven track record in building relationships and displayed ownership of client inputs to deliver results. The ideal candidate will deliver an excellent client experience and will execute at a strategic and tactical level to deliver growth for our clients. This includes activities such as account strategy development, business planning, pricing strategy and implementation, marketing, content creation and optimization, catalog management, forecasting, inventory management, negotiation, and reporting. This position requires a candidate who can easily dive deep into a data set, develop strategies, and present their action plan to gain alignment with senior leaders. The best candidates can influence senior leadership within any organization Philip J. Boren represents to embrace and invest in the Amazon.com platform while producing sales results that support this message.

As an Ecommerce Associate Account Manager for Philip J. Boren represented Amazon.com businesses, you will be supported by internal resources such as site merchandisers, content creation specialists, marketing specialists, data scientists and operations specialists. You will need to create business cases internally to garner the support of these resources.  This position offers career advancement opportunity as the scoped accounts grow in complexity and volume.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the P&L statements, business drivers, and inputs for your diverse set of assigned vendor clients ensuring sales goals are consistently achieved
  • Assist in developing and executing quarterly and annual business plans related to marketing, sales, and inventory management via extensive product and sub-category research
  • Bring forth new business opportunities via existing client base and cultivated leads you generate
  • Build strong relationships and facilitate effective, timely communication with clients and retailers to deliver profitable growth
  • Participate on client calls to address business opportunities and manage to a sales growth plan
  • Manage day-to-day Vendor Central and Seller Central portal operations
  • Collaborate with Philip J. Boren internal business partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience for both the client and the retailer
  • Continuously innovate to deliver scalable solutions that bring value to Philip J. Boren and our clients
  • Identify and recommend internal process improvements
  • Report account performance as required with clear and organized meeting agendas and business reviews

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of industry experience in Ecommerce account management. Prior experience working with or at Amazon.com or Walmart.com is highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple competing priority projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize workload in an ever-changing, ambiguous environment
  • Ability to learn and deep dive business metrics to drive action
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including advanced Excel skills
  • Desire to test and learn new tools, technologies, and sales strategies
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years Amazon.com Vendor Central or Seller Central experience
    • In-depth working knowledge of Ecommerce online selling portals (Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Walmart.com)
    • Online marketing or branding experience
